Stage Question...
Maybe someone can answer this question. I have 2nd row on Lindseys side for the Manchester NH show...at what point do they let you up to the stage? When the lights go down? 5th song in?
Sorry if its been answered already. |

It depends on the venue.
Some let the first few rows go up almost immediately. Some toward the end...I forget which song. So Afraid, maybe? |

So it would probably be wise to ask security around the stage

I wouldn't ask security anything. They are usually tight wads. I'd go with the flow of the audience.

You know, I think opinions on this would vary. Some people just go up there and stand there from the beginning. I've done that when I've had front row but, otherwise, personally--I've found respectfully asking security to be a good idea.
Of course, if they say no--you're not allowed up--and then you see people from 20th row making their way up--you can get annoyed. But, I do know in MSG-I wasn't asking for anything and I was in the front row, in my seat--ALL the way to the left side of the stage (to the point it was really hard to see because the stage was very high). Everyone else was kind of trying to be all flirty and bribey with security and the guard actually came over to me just before the show started and told me the minute the lights go out--I should make a bee-line for the middle where I'd be able to see better. Which, seriously, I thought was very sweet. Good luck! (Oops! told you opinions would vary--but, Curt is probably right about that. I hate to be sexist, but--sometimes girls have more pull in that area. Although I'm no spring chicken but that may have worked to my advantage, too). Last edited by Regina; 05-24-2009 at 11:52 AM.. |

My friend is good friends with the head of security at Honda center in Anaheim. We talked to him at the show and he said the band told him, prior to the show, that the first 13 rows could come to the stage. So we grabbed our spot right away, well it was probably 8:15. If you wait, you will probably be at the back of the crowd. Worst case scenario they'll tell you to take your seat and you can try again.
