Dear Ledgies, Please Do Not Yell At Me If One Of These Songs Don't Get On The New Album
Seeing how the upcoming tour is named "On With The Show," does anyone think it will also be the name of the record?

I hope not lol. It's very clichéd. Some of the other song names in Elle's list are much more provocative - Lay Down for Free would make a great title. Think of the connotations of that phrase and the photography they could do as cover art aha.

(I'm picturing Christine laying down. Laying down in the same way Stevie, Linds, Mick and John are in the Say You Will photo! Preferably cosying up to Lindsey while Stevie's hugging Mick. And John is on the back of the album looking somewhat bemused by these silly people. )

except of course no one in this band lays down for free…. it always comes at a significant cost

I like Hunger as a title of the album, or even better, Carnival Begin.

I like The Hunger too. There is a popular cult movie called The Hunger. It starred Susan Sarandon and was a very sexual movie about vampires. There is a famous lesbian seducton scene in the movie. That is what first popped in my head about this title.

2. Red Sun
3. Too Far Gone
4. Is This Right
5. Hunger
6. In My World
7. How I Feel
8. Lay Down For Free
9. Carnival Begin

would add to this some old Stevie Nicks demos after considering her recent comment on the public record:

1. On With the Show (Lindsey Buckingham)
2. Red Sun (Unknown)
3. Too Far Gone (update from 1970 Christine Perfect Album rarity)
4. My Mother's Rings (Stevie Nicks)
5. Is This Right (Buckingham)
6. Hunger (Buckingham)
7. Space Needle (Nicks)
8. How I Feel (McVie)
9. Lay Down For Free (Buckingham)
10. Mistress of my Fate (Nicks)
12. Need You Now (C. McVie update from 1970)
13. Planets of the Universe (Acoustic: C. McVie/S. Nicks collaboration)
14. Carnival Begin (Band Song in The Chain-style: written by Buckingham).

This would work well. Just a thought.

Notes:
Alternative track to The Dealer = Call on me for Magic
The Dealer [Subject to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' copyright approval consent - Runaway Trains melody is shared with it- or Stevie could re-write the melody ]

cheers,
secret love.

Are you sure that's what you want because this record of yours constantly skips/repeats?

I highly doubt Need You Now and Planets of the Universe will ever be recorded again. Too Far Gone (Chris' 1970 Song) was not written by her so it will not go on the album and I am sure of that. A new song called "Too Far Gone" will go on the album (Music by Lindsey Buckingham, Lyrics by Christine McVie), we know that because of interviews

Stevie was filmed on the red carpet at BMI awards - Saying she recorded 24 songs in Nashville (Dave Stewart and Christine McVie were also in Nashville with her at that time). She is calling the project her "24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault" ...I highly doubt it would be released entirely as a solo project, even if it is I am sure Fleetwood Mac's vocalists and players would feature heavily.

Stevie doesn't have time for a solo tour before September. That USA tour will probably launch a World Tour. She is not touring solo, so my reasoning just says, why release a solo record?

I don't really care what her publicist Liz Rosenberg says. She sounds like an idiot and so does Stevie if she thinks she can pull a stunt like that...it won't do her career any favours. Nor would it please her colleagues in the band.
