I am too! When I saw it may be done this time around, I started "hearing" it in my head as it may be sung...

I think she'll nail storms like she nailed Beautiful Child 5 years ago.

I hope you are right...I'm listening to Storms right now and thinking that if she nails the vocals on it, it really will be something great to hear live. On the other hand, the whole song could very easily be ruined if she can't quite get the vocal down. It's one of those that could easily be the hit of the tour or be dropped after one show!

I laughed so loud my friends dog looked up at me. |

In 2006 I asked Brett to show me how to play SOTM on the piano, even though I already know. I just wanted to learn a different way of playing it. He said he didn't know how to play that song but he offered to teach me how to play Silver Springs instead. I said "no thanks." Looking back I wish I had let him show me.
Anyway if FM wants to they can call me and I will play SOTM live on stage on the piano if no one else knows how to in their band. I can also play Sara almost the exact way Christine did. Or better yet they should ask Liam McConville cause IMHO he is an Excellent piano player and he looks like he could be Lindsey's younger brother from a different mother. |

He was listed as the drum tech and you get little glimpses of him playing during "Come" on the Live In Boston DVD from the "Say You Will" tour.
Why they needed an additional drummer going on that tour I don't know, especially since if they wanted more volume/sound out of Mick, all they had to do was take down that stupid clear plastic barrier from in front of his drum kit. I saw FM during the Vito/Burnette days at the Shoreline Amphitheater and Mick's bass drum was so solid that I felt my chest thumping through the whole show and I was probably 50 yards away!! I saw them earlier on the same tour at the Oakland Coliseum and I was about 10 rows from the stage and they rocked so hard I almost couldn't hear the whole next day!! No need for an additional drummer! Percussionist yes, drummer, no!! No need to put a barrier up to quiet Mick down!! Just "Unleash" him!!!!!! |
