Wasn't Madison just BEAUTIFUL. I mean the water on both sides, the GORGEOUS capitol building, and the air of the college in the town!!!!!! I really liked it!!!!!! Yes, we were at the Hilton, which was very nice.
I took a pic of that BUSH LIES banner (in red, white, and blue no less ) at like 1:00 a.m. Thank goodness the camera has auto focus. Heee Heee

It was the first thing I saw as we got close to the hotel. I took it as a good omen.

We LOVED Madison. Even the bars on every corner were charming... it was a great town. We had a great view of the lake from our room, too.

When I saw that sign, I instantly regretted not bringing my camera. We also walked by a state building named after someone named Risster, and that was another one where I thought I should've had my camera!

AND - the food at the places we ate was great!!!!!!!!! Not to mention gldstwmn and I danced at this cool club to Der Kommisar (sp.?), Billie Jean, and about 20 other 80's tunes. What a cool place.

I remember Rachael Ray going there on $40 A Day...it looks like a really cool town. Risster....
