Here's the news:

http://www.hennemusic.com/2017/06/fl...-mcvie-to.html

The article is pretty much the same as the rest of the articles so far. "Organically" and "body of work" make an appearance.

What I'd give for the world to issue a moratorium on him using the word organic!

We'll get to see who's backing them up. Jimmy Paxson, who's worked for Stevie in the past, posted something last week about having a serious bromance with Brett Tuggle, and said something today about finally being finished with rehearsals, although was being secretive about for whom.

If it's with Brett, that has to be it. I'd bet $50!

Actually, the rehearsals were done on Friday, but a little later on, he said was going to be on TV next week.

Are you trying to logic the show into being a day earlier? It will tape on the 8th, 2 days from today, and air later that night, after midnight on the east coast on the 9th. Not tomorrow night or even pretty much tomorrow night.

Actually, the Tonight Show starts at 11:34pm Eastern.
They are listed as Buckingham McVie -
My auto record on the dvr didn't catch it, I only have it set for 'Lindsey Buckingham'.

Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie To Rock Late Night TV

06-06-2017

(hennemusic)

Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have announced that they will perform on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, June 8.

The appearance comes on the eve of the release of the pair's self-titled debut album, which originated from a series of studio sessions in 2014 after McVie reunited with the band for dates on their On With The Show tour.

The duo recorded eight tunes with Fleetwood Mac's rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie before resuming the group's world tour, and returned to the studio to complete the project at the end of last year.

"We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically," explains Buckingham. "The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, 'What took us so long?!'"

"We've always written well together, Lindsey and I," adds McVie, "and this has just spiralled into something really amazing that we've done between us." Read more here.

One thing to remember is that there's a Stanley Cup playoff game on Thursday. Yesterday's game ended at 11:07, which pushed back the Tonight Show and Late Night by seven minutes. The DVR wouldn't have worked.

I played mine to record an hour after the ending time.

Which is great if the game doesn't go into overtime. However, they play full periods of sudden death overtime. I've watched playoff games go into almost nine full periods. And, with it being game five of a tied series, it wouldn't surprise me if it went into at least one overtime.

In any case, I'm sure the performance will be available for streaming on Friday.
