Default Fan Club and Mick Fleetwoods album sales

I have in insomnia So I figured I would start a new thread Does anybody think that the fan club fiasco ( which a lot of people blame on Mick) had an affect on his album sales or do you think he did as well as he was gonna do?

I blame it on the whole band because they endorsed it, but I don't really think it had any effect on Mick's album sales. I think it tanked because the public is simply not clamoring for a solo album from the likes of Mick Fleetwood. But, then again, they aren't exactly clamoring for one from Lindsey but I hope we still get one.

I didn't buy Mick's album simply because I heard it before it was out...and it was no good...and I'm sure most people didnt buy it because like you said who the hell cares about a solo album from Mick?

If nothing else, there's one track with 3/4 of the original Mac, and that's enough for me!

I had a pretty positive experience but I guess I was in the minority. The fanclub promised calanders to everyone and most people did not receive them. The reserved seats were apparaently horrible on the first leg (mine were great on the 2004 summer tour and Sept. 2004 in Atlantic City though). And they promised discounts at the online FM store. We never saw any of those until a year after they promised the discounts.

My only problem was that my signed tourbook took about a month to recieve but no big deal....

Understatement of the new century and you barely even scratched the surface of Toad and Mick's scam.

Thumbs down Fan Club...bah.

I never recieved a calendar or letter, and I emailed them about it after they told us to.

The only tickets I got through the fan club were lower balcony, 11th row up. Not horrible, but not super terrific either. I am in the Keith Urban Fan Club...it's 20 bucks a year, and I just recently got 8th row for the March 10th Oklahoma City show. Of course, the Ford Center wasn't prepared for the onslaught of fans, and there were tons of problems with the sale. Still, I think most people got decent to great seats.

I consider Ledgies a fan club.

OMG, that is a horrible seat! I received Pit row five and up everytime, but that was for the last leg of the tour. I think they had somewhat gotten their act together by then.
