Question List your FM/solo albums in purchase order

This is tough. But can you list your Fleetwood Mac/solo albums in the order you bought them? This is my list. Its hard to remember and there could be a few mistakes but I think this is what I remember.

Order of the albums you bought first to last.

Rumours 1983
Fleetwood Mac 1983
Bella Donna 1983
Fleetwood Mac Live 1983
Mirage 1983
Tusk 1983
The Wild Heart 1983
Christine McVie 1984
Heros are hard to find 1984
Go Insane 1984
Bare Trees 1984
Mystery to Me 1985
Rock a Little 1985
Tango in the night 1987
Greatest Hits 1988
The other side of the mirror 1989
Behind the mask 1990
Timespace 1991
Out of the cradle 1992
Street Angel 1994
Time 1995
The Dance 1997
Enchanted 1998
Trouble in Shangri La 2001
In the meantime 2004

I bought Rumours on the release date of 2/77 then Fleetwood Mac (1975) and Buckingham/ Nicks later that year.
Tusk on the release date in October of '79,later that year all Fleetwood Mac albums from 1967-1974
I bought "Live 1980"on the release date and everything else solo/band on the release date from 1981-present.

......Waiting for the next one

The Dance was first, then the 1988 Greatest Hits, then Tango, Mirage, Tusk, and so on. I actually went backwards in the discography order.

1) My brothers, who were 10 and 7 years older than me, bought Rumours when it came out, I'm sure. I was born in 1971, so I must have been 6 or 7 when I first heard the album. I remember LOVING the album cover, and after they moved out, they left the album for me.

2) The next album I bought was Stevie's Rock a Little- I had heard Talk to Me and I fell in love with it and the album. 1985

3) Stevie's the Wild Heart was next-1986

4) Bella Donna- 1986

5) By this time, I was a HUGE Stevie fan, and in preparation for Tango coming out, I bought Mirage in early 1987.

6) Tango in the Night -1987

7) Christine McVie's album

8) Stevie's video collection I Can't Wait on VHS! 1987

9) Stevie's Live at Red Rocks concert video on VHS 1987

10) Stevie's White Wing Dove concert video on VHS 1987

11) Fleetwood Mac album- 1987

12) Tusk- 1987

13) FM Live album 1987

14) FM Greatest Hits -1988

15) Buckingham Nicks 1989

Then I bought everything else when it was released, from the FM Tango video to the Chain box set clear up through 24 Karat Gold. However, I got rid of FM's Time and LB's Trouble and Out of the Cradle.

Interesting question!

Rumours (1977--my sister bought it but I ended up playing it more than she).

Mirage 1982
Tusk 1983
Fleetwood Mac 1983
The Wild Heart 1983
Live 1983
Heroes are Hard to Find 1983
Penguin 1983
Bare Trees 1984
Kiln House 1984
Christine McVie 1984
Bella Donna 1984
Mystery to Me 1985
Then Play On 1985
Christine Perfect 1985
Future Games 1985
Vintage Years 1985
Live in Boston--Boston Tea Party two vols. 1985
Rock a Little 1985
Live in Chicago 1986
Tango in the Night--release date
Go Insane 1987
Law and Order 1987
Out of the Cradle 1994
Time 1995
The Dance 1997
Trouble in Shangri-la--release date
Danny Kirwan compilation (early 2000s)
Say You Will--release date
In the Meantime--release date
Under the Skin--release date
Seeds We Sow (can't remember)
I'm Your Dreams--release date

Never bothered to get Behind the Mask, which I hated and hate, nor Other side of the Mirror or Street Angel, but I have bought songs off iTunes for the latter.

Tusk
TITN
Rumours
FM
Mirage
BTM
Greatest Hits
Time
The Dance
Very Best of FM
SYW

Started with Tusk. Tried to get into Stevie's solo career with BD but was turned off all of it until TITN in 87 which made me collect all the rest.

It's only tough if you're young. If you're old, you got them in the order that they were released.

Actually, I"m not THAT old, if you count pre-BN.

FM:
I first bought Tusk, a neighbor didn't like it and gave it to me for 2 DM, good times. Then I bought Mirage the day it came out and some time later I got Rumours and FM. The rest I bought when it came out.
SN:
Wild Heart, when it came out, the rest via Second hand stores.
CMV:
The legendary album via Second hand stores, everything else when it came out.
LB: I don't own any of his solo work
BW: Second hand
Everyone else: Second hand

See, I'm the original second hand news

Let me think, if I remember correctly:

Tango in the Night (taped it from my uncle) in 1987
Rumours 1988 (after their Rotterdam show in june 1988)
Live 1988 (after hearing a tape from a friend in that summer)
Tango (bought it on CD) 1988
Tusk 1989
Fleetwood Mac 1989
Mirage 1989
Behind the Mask 1990
The Very Best of 1990 (alas, when it came out)
The Chain, 25 Years (had to save for it, but early 1993)
The Dance 1997 (?)
Say You Will 2003
EP 201when it came out

As a 7 year old child in 1977, I saved my allowance to buy a copy of "Rumours". 2 months later I purchased "Fleetwood Mac (White Album)". I bought ALL subsequent BAND AND SOLO ALBUMS (excluding Mick Fleetwood's "The Visitor") in the year they were released, most being ON THE RELEASE DAY.

I really have no idea for most of them.
But as a rough approximation (probably not including all the albums I have)…

Tango in the Night (parents, 1988)
Behind The Mask (1990)
Rumours (1990)
Fleetwood Mac (1990)
Mirage (1991)
Tusk (1992)
Greatest Hits (1970) (1992)
Live (1992)
Out of the Cradle (1992)
The Chain (1992)
Albatross (Fleetwood Mac and Christine Perfect) (1993)
Bella Donna (1993)
The Wild Heart (1993)
The Other Side of the Mirror (1993)
Rock a Little (1993)
Future Games (1994)
Kiln House (1994)
Mr Wonderful (1994)
Time (1995)
Greatest Hits (1988) (1995)
Boston Live (1995)
The Pious Bird of Good Omen (1995)
Christine Perfect (1996)
Christine McVie (1996)
(Peter Green’s) Fleetwood Mac (1996)
Man of the World (1998)
Then Play On (2001)
Say You Will (2003)
Bare Trees (2003)
Mystery to Me (2003)
Penguin (2003)
Heroes Are Hard To Find (2003)
Green Shadows (2003)
In The Meantime (2004)
Live in Boston (2004)
The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac (2004) (both versions)
Shrine 69 (2005)
The Dance (2005)
Under the Skin (2006)
Gift of Screws (2008)
Madison Blues (2009)
The Vaudeville Years (2009)
Blue Again (2010)
Something Big (2010)
Seeds We Sow (2011)
In Your Dreams (2011)
Boston (3 CD) (2013)
24K Gold (2014)
Mojo On My Side (2015)

No real patterns after my initial burst of classic 'Rumours' era albums- I tend to go in phases.
I'm aware I bought some albums in a really curious order such as buying some of the 'middle period' albums about 10 years after I first bought Future Games and not buying The Dance until about 2005.

The 1988 release of Greatest Hits was my first. After that it's a blur.
