i can't get over how amazing stevie's "gold dust woman #1" sounds from the remasters. that ending is so ethereal.

I'm excited about the new songs but NO SISTERS OF THE MOON! I'm having a heart attack. Mick said he wanted it and it was an option but someone else didn't want to do it. I can't believe it.

touring is different today than in 1968, when they drove trucks, set up gear, like Jethro Tull, early Cream. FM basically worked for nothing then. that was rock bottom, with 3-4 people in a hotel room.

the band today is trained like racehorses. when they go on the road they click into all disciplines. they have their own plane. they don't stay up all night drinking.

mick and lindsey now have families on the road. "it's like a circus" he says - with kids and animals. mick has two older daughters, and two little ones whom "dad" gets to read stories to. nowadays they (the band ?) go see art museums and things.

Mick also said they are going to do some of the more obscure songs from Tusk.

And he also said there should hopefully be new music sometime in the future and that they are not going to take forever to create new music since they aren't getting any younger. He added that Lindsey definitely has some music that he wants to get out.

I couldn't really hear everything because I was trying to win those dang tickets. I got through, but the guy had a winner already. Bummer....I'll try again tomorrow.

So, no SOTM, but more obscure music from Tusk...possibly LB songs??? Let's hope!!

PLEASE, let LB put out a solo album after this tour!!!!!!!!!!!!

lindsey's end solo on "go your own way" is mick's favorite guitar solo of all-time by ANYBODY. mine too!

Interesting about the CAMBRIDGE SOUND SYSTEM. How Fleetwood met a bass player he didn't know extremely well, when the guy arrived in New York and they were both looking for their bags. ....Fleetwood asked what this guy was carrying around with him -- which was no bigger than 5 ciggie packs put together>>> It fit into an attache case......

Fleetwood now carries around a Model 12 which can be applied to computers and is a great system. He takes it on the road with him all the time. .....

Great to hear about future releases, as well! THANK YOU, MICK!

Damn! I was hoping SOTM would be one of the secret 3.
It's #1 on my list of songs to hear other than B/N ones.

I wonder if "Angel" & "I Know I'm Not Wrong" could be a few of the possible obscure Tusk songs???

Holy crap! I'm so hype for it. In the current setlist thread, I lobbied for a Tusk medley....maybe Mick reads The Ledge? heh!

Seriously though, the fact that he said "obscure songs" from Tusk make me ficking Giddy! Does that mean more than one song? Different songs on Different nights? Not That Funny? IKINW? The Ledge? Possibilities!

Bugger! Shame they couldn't do at least one new song when they came to the UK!
