Can someone explain?

5TH ROW CENTER

Okay, there is the seating chart for Smirnoff Music Centre in Dallas. I have been looking up ticket brokers and I've seen the Section 101, row C thing lots. I have a question. How is row C, 5th row, when C is the third letter of the alphabet? Also, how come that ticket is $150 but tickets listed in like, row J are like $300 or something?

Am I missing something? I wouldn't think that that seat is obstructed view, what in the world would be the obstruction?

Someone show me the loophole!!!! LOL

I can't explain why they have prices listed higher for seats farther back, but I can tell you that the reason it's is row 5 is most likely because they will have two rows as the "orchestra pit." At Starlake in Pittsburgh, there's always three rows designated for the pit, so if you'd get row C, you'd technically be six rows back. That's just my guess, I could be wrong, although I don't see what else it could be.

Obstructions: Stage monitors, most likely. And, sometimes even the stage itself, if it is high enough to block the view of the musicians at the rear of the stage. I recall being at one outdoor show many, many years ago, where I was so close to the stage, I couldn't see the DRUMMER (or the entire drum riser)! I could only see whoever came within about 4 feet of the lip of the stage...if all the musicians turned to play to the drummer (you know, how Lindsey & John sometimes get right in Mick's face?), the stage looked empty from my vantage point.

I have been to several concerts at the Smirnoff (former coca-cola starplex), and although I haven't ever had very close tickets, I believe that the stage is pretty tall, which might obstruct your view. Another reason might be that there are a couple of rows that are reserved for Handicap patrons.

I dunno what to do. I've only been to Smirnoff once and I was way back in the 200's. I just don't see how this ticket can be a deal, it's too good to be true, so that means, it probably is.
