Default Your favourite Fleetwood Mac single-part 2

Here's 10 of the best from the 80's with the classic line-up. I'll do a grand finale with the top single from each poll when all the votes are in. Thanks. Rich.

Difficult to choose from the second batch. Gypsy and Little lies are terrific, but I went with one that should have been a hit, Sisters of the moon.

Fireflies was a single? In 1980? What was it's peak chart position? I always thought that was kind of a hidden gem Fleetwood Mac song. Oh Diane was a single too? Of all of Lindsey's songs from Mirage that was the one they picked as a single? I always thought they could have cut that song out and made That's Alright a little bit longer. Oh Diane is the weakest song on Mirage. Why didnt they go with Book of Love or Eyes of the World or even Empire State for Lindsey's single?

Fireflies went to #60 in the US. Oh Diane didn't do anything in the US, but charted at #9 in the UK, higher than any other single off of Mirage.

I agree, I think Oh Diane is the weakest track. Book of Love seems like the most single worthy of Lindsey's songs on Mirage (in terms of what would appeal to the masses). Can't Go Back was also released, but only went to 83 in the UK and didn't chart in the US.

yes Oh Diane was huge in the UK, although i don't really get it.

i love Hold Me. perfectly crafted pop song. in every way.

i also love Everywhere. really cute song.

Little Lies i love this tour live version, but the single did nothing for me.

and i love SOTM. Tusk album version being way better than current live one. but Mirage tour video live one was epic. any version of SOTM without Lindsey's screaming guitar feels castrated.

Oh Diane was a huge hit here in the UK. I wouldn't call it the worst song on Mirage, but it is the least representative of Mac. Retro, and not typical of them, yet I quite like it.
In about a weeks time when it looks as if all the votes are in, I'll run a head to head with the 2 finalists. So far, it looks like a battle between GYOW and Gypsy. Thanks, Rich.
