. But I did have an uncle that I thought was attractive, if not hot. And admiring him from an early age, I do think that kind of influenced my feeling of what an ideal man should be like. And I remember telling my Dad that I wanted to grow up and marry him. He was so uptight that he couldn't just laugh it off and take it in stride, but gave me some kind of lecture, even though I think that's a common thing for kids.

I loved every little thing that Cory said about Lindsey in her tour diary, like hating to be the one to have to go and try to get him to the plane, because he would just keep talking and, while ignoring the fact that she was trying to get him to leave, he'd put his arm around her like she was standing there for her health! Or how he didn't bother telling him the zipper on his boot was busted and she had to tape it together for the next show.

Or how he would make faces at her while on stage and distract her from her teleprompter duties.

And I love at the end of the SYW tour when he made a dedication to her and said that Greg would be so proud and he got choked up. Awww.

First pic: So it's true: Stevie CAN play guitar. I thought when they needed more guitars in a song than a hired rhythm guitar player can do, they bring in their female John Paul Jones (that Chris BTW), but is that Buckingham Nicks-era?

Second pic: Doesn't Stevie look like she's about to say "Pound it", but it's funny to actually see her all hot n' sweaty (always thought she acted too ladylike to break a sweat lol).

OK, sorry about making so many Stevie comments, but they were suprirsing in those pics.

I assume it's from the B/N era, but I'm not completely sure. This is not to say that Stevie ever plays the guitar anymore. I've seen her play piano before.

I think I've heard her play piano on a Sisters of the Moon demo and a very early demo of Gypsy once. She's pretty good, and way better than me (all I know is a few notes from Greensleeves back when they made us learn piano in the 8th grade).

Isn't it mentioned in CAH's book that Stevie tried to play the guitar, on the Rumours tour rehearsales? Or maybe not !

Carol said that Lindsey was trying to teach Stevie to play and was saying that she said she wanted to play on stage. I think he was showing her GYOW or something. An argument ensued and Stevie left abruptly.

I know in 1982 an interviewer asked Stevie why she didn't play on stage and she said it was because it would just be for the novelty factor, not because she's really any good. She concluded that Lindsey would just be yelling at her that she was out of tune and she figured that was the last thing she needed.
