just wondering if anyone else on here is watching The Strain. It's kind of unique to have unglamorous vampires on tv. These creatures are monsters. I like this show a lot.

I have seen a few episodes but I never got the idea that they were supposed to be vampires.I thought that they were aliens of some sort.

They are vampires. I like the show a lot but the novels are just ok. There is a master vampire that is pulling the strings. The vampire strain lives in blood worms that infect people when bitten. It's different.
