MmmK. That's cool. It's not like he was telling her specific things to wear, just looking out for her. Perhaps he is a little conservative/protective, though he does unbutton his shirts rather low- but, hey, a man gets hot.

Thank God Bob Welch was a bit kinder.

All this silly stuff about having to hire two guys to replace one guy is just . . . silly. It's not even true. They hired ONE guy to replace Buckingham: Rick. Rick was the ONLY guy who played lead guitar in the band during his tenure. Billy NEVER played lead guitar in Fleetwood Mac -- EXCEPT during "Landslide." And that was probably just a novelty idea, something that he & Stevie wanted to try.

The REAL problem with whom the band hired after Lindsey left was that they didn't hire ANYONE to replace Buckingham in the engineering/production department. So the band suffered for that, relying on a guy, Greg, who had a reputation & a CV, certainly, but no real brilliance & no vision. The sad result was that he botched the new tunes on the '88 album & botched the entire '90 album.

Fleetwood Mac should have replaced Lindsey with Daniel Lanois Thomas Dolby or someone with studio genius.
