If Chicago would have been made in the 1970's like it was supposed to and Bob Fosse could have actually directed it...it would have been SUPREME!

I believe that had it where Liza and Ann-Margret would star. If only...

He sounds constipated. It drives me nuts. But the movie itself is so bombastic and orgasmic that I'm going to vote for it. Plus, it has Jim Broadbent singing "Like A Virgin." He rocks, bitches.

If your child ain’t all he should be now
This girl will put him right
I’ll show him what he could be now
Just give me one night

I’m the gypsy, the acid queen
Pay me before I start
I’m the gypsy and I’m guaranteed
To mend his aching heart

Give us a room, close the door
Leave us for a while
You won’t be a boy no more
Young, but not a child

I’m the gypsy, the acid queen
Pay me before I start
I’m the gypsy, I’m guaranteed
To tear your soul apart

Gather your wits and hold them fast
Your mind must learn to roam
Just as the gypsy queen must do
You’re gonna hit the road

My work’s been done, now look at him
He’s never been more alive
His head it shakes, his fingers clutch
Watch his body writhe

I’m the gypsy, the acid queen
Pay me before I start
I’m the gypsy, I’m guaranteed
To break your little heart

If your child ain’t all he should be now
This girl will put him right
I’ll show him what he could be now
Just give me one more night

Pay me before I start

BWAHAHA! I love the "Like A Virgin" number! The best part of the entire movie to me though is the scene after Nicole finds out that she is going to die...

"Today's a day, when dreaming ends..."

Moulin Rouge gets my vote. Kidman's portrayal of Satine is one of my favorite performances ever. I do like many of the others, though, notably Cabaret, Chicago and Grease.

I LOVE Meet Me In St. Louis too!! I thought about both of them, but the darn poll only let me include 10. I tried to grab a large time frame.

Among those Cabaret (Bob Fosse ), but my favourite is probably All That Jazz, followed by Rocky Horror Picture Show, On connait La chanson, High Society, Shall We Dance, Meet Me in Saint Louis, The Band Wagon, and so on.

I actually do like Ann-Margret. I actually, thanks to my gf, have had the chance to meet her...she is super nice!

However when people do bring up the Cilla vs. A-M war...Cilla always gets my vote!

I'm partial to the "Roxanne" number. Every time I see it, it truly amazes me. Nicole's entrance to "Sparkling Diamonds/Material Girl" is pretty marvelous as well, I think she has such a lovely voice. And, of course, "One Day I'll Fly Away" is awesome.

Chicago was pure campy fun. I loved it, though I am NOT a fan of Zellweger's.
