Default One Sunny Day

Great song, sounds a lot like a Cream tune. Anyway, I was just listening to this off my English Rose CD and I noticed in the B section there is slide guitar (maybe) and harmonica low in the middle of stereo! Wow, do you suppose that's Spencer on slide? I suppose it could be Kirwan's intense vibrato, but mixed with the harmonica it sounds like a slide.

I love hearing new things in these classic songs!

Just listened to it through headphones. I'm thinking that your Kirwan theory might be the one.

Also, I think this may have appeared on the UK version of "Then Play On", and, if the rumors are correct, Jeremy didn't play on it so it may not be him on slide (but PG occasionally played slide, so...).

However, the recording date is pretty early compared to the bulk of TPO's cuts so maybe the full band did play on it.

Hopefully, Jeremy can give us some insight here.

Yes, it (along with "Without You") was on the first pressings of Then Play On in the UK...those songs were later replaced by "Oh Well".
