cds released

Does anybody know if the "in between" era(70-74) albums have been released on cd? Particularly, Kiln House and Penguin?

Every Fleetwood Mac album is out on CD.

Rhino have in their 'Original Album Series' (8122797193) re-released a box with 5 discs: 'Then Play On' (with 'Oh well'), 'Kiln House', 'Future Games', 'Bare Trees' & 'Mystery to Me'.
They left out 'Penguin' and 'Heroes Are Hard to Find' but didn't specify why. The box cost me 19 euro here in the Netherlands.

First I thought they remastered them but when I compared them to the discs I already had, I noticed no difference.
Must have been my excellent CD player (Cambridge azur 650C)!

Not really; each CD is in a carton sleeve and each looks exactly like the front and back of the original CD's. So, no liner notes. There are minor differences in colours used.
The 5 separate carton sleeves go into a slightly bigger carton one, which looks like this: http://www.allmusic.com/album/origin...15321/releases.

Leaving out Penguin and Heroes is odd. Perhaps Rhino felt those two albums were "inferior" to the others? I do not agree. Some of the Welch-McVie years best tunes come from Penguin. And Heroes is, among other things, an important document of their transition.

Maybe they were trying to pretend Dave Walker never existed? Maybe the heroes album artwork horrified the packagers so much they couldn't bear to release it?
