Like the Weather by 10,000 Maniacs

www.youtube.com/watch?v=te7bbWBXusk

I first heard this in a shop not long after I jumped on the Mac bandwagon. I thought at first it must be a Stevie solo track.

I wish Mick would just say definitively that the group does not exist anymore. Then we can edit Wikipedia and get rid of all this crap about the surviving members of the 2018-19 lineup comprising a current configuration.

Thanks to Mick and all erstwhile members for the good times.

Inversely, the first time I heard “Welcome to the Room Sara” I thought the arrangement was an homage to the 10,000 Maniacs!

I have one that will blow you away. TLC Unpretty. Back in the late 90s, Stevie heard the song and instantly loved the Fleetwood Mac sound and feel to the song. I read Stevie's quote before really paying attention to the song. Stevie is so right. I posted the music track without any singing. Its vintage Lindsey and almost has a Tusky quality beat. I totally get what Stevie was saying. If you remember, Stevie loved the song so much that she hired TLC's producer to produce TISRL before Sheryl came aboard and messed it all up
Even the guitar sounds very much like a Lindsey track.
Take a listen

I Need You by the Beatles sounds like something Christine would write and George's guitar riff sounds like something Lindsey would've done in the 80's. Just goes to show how ahead of their time they were.
