It seems he's doing fine.

Yet she still doesn't address his voice.

I wish they would.

It annoys me because she is the one who brought it up. She may think we’re being nosy, but we would never have known and would never have inquired about his voice if she didn’t say it. Vocal cord injury would not even have entered our brains. So, having said it, it would be nice if she gave an update.

I'm sure his voice is a work in progress with the final outcome unknown. More importantly, it sounds like his heart is doing fine. All speculation on my part.

That was my first thought too. He’s fine and that’s all I’m gonna say about it. That was pretty much her message.

I’m happy he’s fine but an additional explanation about his voice status, considering she brought it up in the first place, would be nice.

yup, i'd speculate the same. especially hearing all the stories about how long and uncertain recuperating the voice went for other singers in similar situiations.

my further speculation is - KB can't tell us what they don't know, no matter how much they and us would love to know. all along she's been transmitting what they knew. i liked knowing all along instead of wondering now why he's not back yet. because she mentioned the voice damage, we all know why he's not back - and that he's working on it.

man y'all are demanding!

I wish he'd do something creative just to get back out there. A completely instrumental album would be to die for given his talent.

He's already got a solo album in the can. The one he was going to release and support when FM was going to start their last world tour. But yeah, bring it Lindsey, we are eagerly awaiting.

Glad he's doing well!

BUT, it would also be nice to know how his VOICE is progressing.

I NEED TO KNOW if he can yell at that old goat to kiss his ass.

The fact that the album has not been released could be a sign that LB is still recovering and that he is holding off releasing it until he is well enough to tour behind it.

And besides, it's not like they're gonna tell us anything just because we're a bunch of demanding people.

We all clearly love him and I honestly would be fine if he decides to call it quits. BUT I'd love to know, that's all.

I wouldn't say we are 'demanding', I would say we are 'invested'. We are invested in him and his career, both emotionally and to be honest, financially. All great artists have had patrons whose financial support enabled them to pursue their art. I see us as LB's patrons. We have supported and promoted him and his art for decades. And people don't make that kind of commitment to just anybody; they do it only for those artists they truly believe in and whose art touches them in some way. Which is the emotional element. So we care about him and what happens to him not just as an artist but as a person.

That said, I agree that neither he nor his family owes us anything regarding his personal life. But people are curious about how this will impact his artistic career. Like others have speculated, I also think at this point in time they likely still just don't know how it will turn out. Why say anything until all the data is in? Whatever they say will be picked up and splashed all over the press. Let's face it, Lindsey is competitive, and I just don't see him wanting the whole sh*tshow last couple years of everything with FM to end with him knocked out of the game altogether, unable to say whatever he wants/needs to say for himself via his music.

She can tell us if he can speak or not. I don’t care if he can sing, because he couldn’t sing before either. I don’t expect the heart attack worked a miracle and gave him his singing voice back, because that was lost 10 years ago. RIP.

CAN HE TALK??

When I saw him in Canton last year i thought his voice was the strongest I've heard it in years
