Default Brief RS Mention

I apologize if this has already been posted. I found this in the new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine (with Fergie on the cover. Yuck.) No proper album review though, bastards.

Excerpt from:
Smoking Section (Page 51, Issue 1011, October 19, 2006)
By Austin Scaggs

We all love Fleetwood Mac, right? And Mac fans should remember how guitarist Lindsey Buckingham all but stole the show on the band's 1997 live reunion disc, The Dance, with his unaccompanied rendition of "Big Love," which featured the furious finger-picking technique developed as a young folkie. That performance is the jumping-off point for Under the Skin, L-Buck's new mellow-gold solo album, his first in fourteen years. "I wondered if I was ever going to start writing again," he says, adding that he laid down the disc while on the road with the Mac in hotel rooms on a digital sixteen-track recorder. Much of the inspiration came from his young family ("I'll have a drool cup when the last one graduates college," he says), through whom he's discovered a joy for life, after decades of dysfunctional relationships , in and out of the band. "A lot of these songs reflect a different point that I've gotten to in my life," he says. He includes two covers that fit the finger-picking bill: Donovan's "To Try For The Sun" and the 1966 Stones gem "I Am Waiting." Check him out on his current solo tour, where he'll play cuts that span his Mac and solo careers - he even promised S.S. he'd break out his Vacation classic "Holiday Road." Yep, That was him!

I cut this little article out of rolling stone and im putting it on my poster for school. We had to make a collage of our goals and values in life. Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey is definitely valued in my life, so its going on.
