This was a great video. Christine made fun of the ridiculous videos before it was cool to do so. One pet peeve is that Christine had the worst hair cuts for both her videos. She is so beautiful but her hair stylist was bad.

Verse 1
I don't fool around on my baby
And he don't fool around on me
And I know when I need him
He'll be there for me
Ooh and if he asks me some questions
Well, I don't tell him lies
And I don't have the need
The need for alibis

Chorus
I don't know how
Love will survive
But it's all right for now
Still I believe
Love will show us how
There must be a way
To keep it alive
And so keep our vows
And I believe
Love will show us how
Still I believe
Love will show us how

Chorus
I don't know how
Love will survive
But it's all right for now
Still I believe
Love will show us how
There must be a way
To keep it alive
And so keep our vows
And I believe
Love will show us how
Still I believe
Love will show us how
Huh! I'll be damned. Those first eight lines are considered one verse. There's a brief instrumental space between the fourth and fifth lines, and musically the fifth line returns to the bars used for the first line. Christine calls it one verse, so it's one. But if I were writing it out, I'd say two brief verses are repeated.

It also has one very long chorus
It definitely a unique song

I was very excited for this release and by 1984 I was getting use to solo releases instead of a Fleetwood Mac album which to this day I still prefer. Got a Hold on Me was a great single but even after the first listen I thought how amazing it could have been if Lindsey produced and played on it with Buckinhgam/Nicks background vocals. It would have been a great follow to Mirage's Hold Me and Gypsy singles as a Fleetwood Mac track.

Before 'In the Meantime' was released, I would have said "One in a Million" was the best solo song by any member of Fleetwood Mac. Now I'd have to put some of the ITM songs up there alongside it.

I would love to hear Christine and Lindsey sing "One in a Million" together if they tour to support their upcoming album. How do people like the idea? How does everyone think Lindsey would do with the Steve Winwood vocal part?

One in a million is a great song and it was particularly cool live because Christine sung it front mic and center stage. Gosh I wish video existed of one of her solo shows other than the Country Club which was filmed almost a half year before her tour.

Turns 34 this year. Got A Hold On Me was burning up the charts this week in 1984 with a top 10 peak date of March 24.
