Default Stevie Nicks Fajita Roundup

I know this is really old, but for a while this video was really really hard to find. I came across it today on youtube and it's still absolutely hilarious, so I figured I would share it so anyone who hasn't seen it could, and anyone who has could watch it again and get a nice chuckle.

Here's another one, since the YouTube one will no doubt disappear soon.

Lightbulb Ha!!

I am planning a trip to Sedona, Arizona and was checking the restaurants. Lookie what I stumbled across. We should all leave "reviews" for it.

Does anyone know if Stevie has ever commented on this? I think it's really funny and good spirited.

I always wondered why she gave Stevie a weird foreign accent… like eastern European or something…..

I remember her saying that she liked it and thought it was funny.
The TripAdvisor link is actually another restaurant that does exist. I guess someone called it Fajita Roundup as a joke. See link to real restaurant at that address and phone #.

Two of my favorite women! I loved Xena. Still have the Dvd's. The accent is probably because Lucy is from New Zealand and that's the closest she could sound. Lucy said she was a fan of Stevie's.

I thought she got the pitch of Stevie's voice pretty well, you know how deep and a little raspy she was then, but the accent is just funky.

I happen to find this interview clip of Lucy on TV Legends.

She talks about her appearance on SNL and her Stevie skit.

WARNING she curses like a trucker.LOL.................

She looks great there.

I always enjoyed watching Xena.

Sometimes the weirder "SNL" moments don't get enough credit. Seventeen years ago, we were blessed with one of the finest "SNL" commercials starring one of the most unexpectedly fantastic hosts.

The sketch, which aired October 17 (or 18 depending on how you look at it), 1998, is pretty wild even in theory: "Stevie Nicks' Fajita Roundup."

Here, Lucy Lawless portrays the spooky songstress and invites down to Sedona for some fine Tex-Mex dining.

I'd compare this sketch to Kristen Wiig's portrayal of Liza Minnelli: It's not supposed to be a literal impersonation. It's a caricature designed to highlight and explore a well-known celebrity's eccentricities. The way Lawless glides between song parodies and casual Stevie charisma (with the occasional burrito bite) is hilarious and disorienting.

Props to Decider for pointing out and commemorating this important Southwestern dining experience.
