Peacekeeper soon available as a single-CD in Germany!
I've just found the announcement for the release of "Peacekeeper" as a single CD in Germany on May 5th. Tracks will be:
1.Peacekeeper (Single Mix) 2.Peacekeeper (Album Version) 3.Smile At You (Album Version) Here's the link from Amazon.de: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASI...600402-2512502 The info has also been confirmed by the big German CD-store chain JPC and the music database site Musicline.de. Sure, there are no bonus tracks, but it's still great news, and with a little luck, this song could become a hit over here and create even more interest in the album. German radio/listener charts and playlists indicate a huge interest in the track and now with the new video, it looks quite promising over here for Fleetwood Mac. And so far, there have already been very good reviews for the album in the German media as well (the CD was released here yesterday). |

Yes, that's so great! They will release it here in Sweden too, I don't know the date though. Yay for Peacekeeper!

Cool news, Maik!
And hopefully one of the future European or German CD-singles will include some bonus tracks.

"Break their will"?
Does anyone know if the German single mix includes the lyrics I am hearing on Boston radio: "break their will" in stead of "only kill"?
Is the single, that is radio edit, available anywhere else? |

Is the single mix shorter or something?

There are two versions Warner Bros. sent to radio... the "single mix" is the same length as the album version, but substitutes "break their will" for "only kill."
The second, which is referred to as the "single mix edit," includes the same lyrical change, but fades out during the repeats of the chorus towards the end (before they get to the repeat of the bridge, "When the night is cold and still...").

So, I take it the version which is the same length as the album version, but substitutes "break their will" for "only kill", is a promo only single from WB and the German single is the one that fades out during the repeats of the chorus towards the end.
