I agree...but we as people are faulty and not perfect...no matter what are greatest efforts are...we always will fall flat on our faces...

I got robbed my first summer in New York. I was walking out of a little grocery store and the asshole tried to steal one of my bags. I threw an orange at him and he ran off, but he still got my groceries.

I am a registered Republican (Most here knew that already) but that's because my home state wont allow me to register as an Independent voter (Didnt even have an Independent on the Presidential ballot...) and I am too lazy to go to the local office and change my affiliation to Democrat.

But I am an Independent-minded-technically-still-a-rethug-oops-I-meant-Republican-who-votes-for-whoever-can-best-do-the-job-regardless-and-NEVER-straight-down-the-party-lines-because-I-have-a-moronic-thing-I-do-and-that-is-think-and-form-my-own-damn-opinions!!!!

But your beliefs can't dictate the laws and Constitution of this country.

No one is advocating that churches must marry gay couples. (Although there are some who perform ceremonies for gay couples. )
It's about civil rights, not religious beliefs.
