Default well.. i'm thinking

about getting Sirius for the 24 hour E-Street station. Love me some Bruce.

I have XM, and I love it. They play Buckingham Nicks all the time on the Loft - Channel 50. Also, Deep Tracks 40 plays a lot of pre-BN FM.. especially Why. I hear it all the time.

Yes, I recommend Satellite radio - XM or Sirius.. you'll never listen to commecial radio again.

I figure I can afford the monthly rate for both XM and Sirius.. and I agree with the baseball.. I can listen to all the Cardinal games. :-)

^^^Are they getting an all Bruce channel? I know The Bridge is all Bruce right now to commemorate the anniversary of Born To Run, but that's only until sometime in January. They do have an all Elvis & an all Stones station.

We're all about Hair Nation, The Bridge & the 60's, 70's & 80's channels. Can't wait for Howard either!

Thanks for all of your comments guys. I basically need 2 radios for the house, and one for the car. Thing is, I heard that you have to pay for a subscription for each radio. Is that true?

Well, I think there's a discount. You pay $12.95 for the first radio, then $6.95 (I think) for more radios on the same account. BUT you can do what we did - buy one that you can hook up to the car and at home. Ours came with a car kit (which mounts on your dash with a suction cup and plugs right into your existing car stereo.) When we get home, we unplug it & plug it into our home kit (which we bought extra - it is hooked up to our stereo in the house.) We only pay the $12.95.

Good idea! Thanks! Did you buy your stuff online or at an electronics store? The people at Radioshack were clueless when I went to see about it there.

We got ours at Best Buy. Now is a great time to buy (any store, doesn't have to be Best Buy) cuz Sirius has a $50 rebate of some sort - not sure of the details, though, you may want to check the website.
