That's the same argument people like to use when pitting Christine and Stevie against each other, and I don't buy into it then either.

Why must artists always be pitted against each other over the most basic of similarities? (That's not directed at you, Robert... just a rhetorical question.)

True I just didn't think a Madonna /Kate rivalry would be as incendiary here as a Christine /Stevie one,and I do think Stevie and Chris actually have alot more in common than Kate and Madonna. Besides a little comparing and contrasting is fun sometimes .Especially if it can take your mind off of other more real things even for a few minutes.

I usually like certain artists for such different reasons that it never even occurs to me to compare them.
When I think of Kate's music, Madonna never enters my mind... and vice versa.

But then, I am self-admitted weirdo!

Did you know Madonna and Kate are the same age? They were both born summer of 1958 and are both 47! Go girls!

You can't compare them.

If you go to motorolla.com and wait, there is a phone in the middle and they will show all the artists and you can click Madonna.

I have heard the new single, her voice is actually very good and there is NO ABBA. I guess that was just for fun...it was rumoured awhile she was going to use ABBA so I guess it's for a mix maybe? Maybe for those across the pond who actually LIKE ABBA.
