1947 or 1949?

Since Lindsey's birthday is coming soon (Oct. 3), I'll ask the question I wonder about every year....Was Lindsey born in 1947 or 1949?? I have about the same number of articles, so on, saying one or the other...so which one is correct????

1949. Check old interviews when Stevie talks about being a year ahead of him in school if you want proof. The big 60 for Lindsey!

It's good to see everyone agree on 1949 so far. Just wondering why so many articles/books/so on/ put him as born in '47? (a lot of them are from earlier years (mid '80s)

probably the same reason some articles call him a her.
I've even seen one doc that said he and Stevie were married.
a bunch of misinformation that gets passed off as fact
and it ends up confusing the hell out of people.

You're probably right! I've seen Lindsey and Stevie billed as once married plenty of times and Lindsey refered to as 'Stevie'. Maybe that's also why, when I tell people that Lindsey Buckingham is my favorite, they reply "Who's She"?!?

Right Michele.

That might involve a tad more humaneness and openness that the poor man can bare to muster. I'd be happy if he was ever asked the question, "What do you want for your birthday?" and he actually said "a trip to Spain" or "an iTouch" and didn't go into that recycled speech, of which I would be happy never to hear again. Ever.

I love him, really, but sometimes his cerebral ways get to me.

I will say, though, that Lindsey has an October 3rd bd, and so many people I personally know born on that day are just wicked cool. Not to mention it is also the birthday of Shannyn Sossamon and Gwen Stefani, both of whom I've seen IRL and are sweethearts and totally gorgeous, cool ladies.
