Yep, i especially loved his 'stream of consciousness' reply, full of cute little factoids about himself. Also loved his "Once I get over the "Christ, how old am I and how long have I been doing this?" bit, it's a lot of fun" comment, I can so easily hear his voice in my head, asking that question.
He's doing a really good job.

TY very much!
Seriously, I'm considering becoming his stalker.

Was that our very own Brian J. and Sharon?
I loved him talking about London to Sharon, you could tell he was really excited.

John, words can't explain how MUCH it means, to many of us, to read your answers to our questions. You're the best! Thank you, sincerely.

Fleetwood Mac changed my life. I now, fortunately, have the opportunity to thank you.

that was me...Asking the ever popular bassist question about boiling your strings (Which supposedly extends the life of the strings and helps with sound/note inotation.)

That was BY FAR the best question of the batch--probably of all the batches. Great job, Brian!
I wish we had more question askers like you, instead of all that "how did it feel (to be back in London, to have a 16-year-old, to work with Stevie again, etc." garbage--to which the only response is, "Gee, it felt great!"

Man, you totally stole one of my questions with the "What bands do you like from today" one. Think. Think. Think....

Oh! Got it. Just I now need to know how to send it...

Although his answer sure was unfortunate. I can't imagine what else his daughter is making him listen to if John Mayer is the one who isn't boring him to tears.

Default Thank you for the updates!

What do you think of putting up a banner or something on the website entrance so that visitors know about John McVie doing the Q&A? It almost feels like one the most closely guarded secrets! It's a BIG deal! Although John is shy, the fact that this is taking place should receive some promotion through the FM world. Also, would you consider a link for people to ask questions on the Q&A section as I plan to let my local radio people know about it.

Hi Tango! There is actually a banner about it on the main page. I guess I was hesitant to put up a big thing to accept new questions since 1. we do have lots left over from last time and 2. i worry that as soon as we do that, he'll decide he's done and then we'll look kinda silly LOL. I don't know how long he's gonna do this for, we left it open-ended. Maybe I'm hoping the more laid back i keep it, the longer he'll go w/ it. But Marty would be the one to add a new 'question submission' page anyway, and he's been so busy w/ other stuff...i guess it's really up to him.

My bad Lis. The only banner I saw was for Fritz downloads. I NOW see that there is a rotating sign and the John McVie Q&A is listed in the rotation on the bottom right. I look forward to MORE! Thank you for the info.

I know you prefer the more technical stuff, David. We truly didn't get many of those kinds of questions, to be honest. Did you send any in?? But I don't think there is anything wrong w/ questions that ask how he felt about stuff, and i also don't think his answers are falling into the 'gee it felt great' category-- IMO if he is elaborating, then the subject is something he wishes to elaborate on, and that's a good thing! Don't be a party pooper.
