Default FM in Australia????!!!

Someone on a Stevie list has just posted that they had just heard and interview on the radio with Mick and he was saying FM would be in Australia around April next year!

Does that mean they would go there before they tour the USA then????

Hmmm....could be...who knows what Mick has planned in terms of touring...from his most recent journals he says they will be touring for 2 years...anyway...i just hope they go all over the globe so everyone gets a chance to see them

Hmm...weird...! Are you sure the person who heard it didn't mix together two different responses, one perhaps a response to "when will you start touring" and the other in response to "will you tour Australia"...?

The album is DUE next March/April....do they plan on launching it in Australia...??

Australia's a pretty weird place for the band to kick off a world tour. But it's not without precedent: the band's 1990 world tour started in Australia in March of that year. Maybe this is the result of Mick's strong emotional attachment to the land down under.

Well it will be interesting if they do start there! Imagine if they then travel north to play in Japan! It is a world tour after all!
