count this JOE in too!!! "Twist of Fate" is boring... I can just see the public having fun with "Gift of Screws" (no pun intended) knowing the history of the band!... I don't like "Infatuation" - save it for a solo album Stevie! |

LOL
Love Chili D's name for the album!!
or Buckingham-Nicks with Fleetwood and Mac! Seriously, though, do you think Stevie would be happy with calling it GOS? Surely she knows that GOS was to be Lindsey's solo work.. Other than GOS, though I haven't heard anything I really like for the title yet-not that I m the one to be pleased or anything.... |

I agree with what someone said earlier in that "as long as I can get it, I don't care what they call it".
Whenever I think of "Twist of fate", it reminds me of that Olivia Newton-John song. Also, just thought, didn't Rod Stewart have a song called "Infatuation" around the same time as the ONJ song? They must be trying for an 80's effect or something! John |

Well, I like Twist of Fate and Full Circle. Gift of Screws is growing on me and it would be cool, but I'm not too sure the rest of the band would go for it.. knowing it was originally for Lindsey's solo thing. I'm sure whatever title they come up with would be great!

Too bad Fleetwood Mac used 'The Dance' already... that might have made a great title for *this* album.
Early on, I thought either 'Twist Of Fate,' or 'Full Circle,' would have made great titles, but the more I think about it, the more I have to agree with the folks who feel those titles are a bit bland. I'd like to see the band go with something that evokes a certain mood... like the titles 'Rumours' and 'Mirage' did. He doesn't post around here much anymore, but my friend, Shane, suggested 'Illume'... which is definitely the type of title I think would be best. Something with a bit of intrigue and romanticism to it. Illume: To throw or spread light upon; to make light or bright; to illuminate; to illumine. I agree with the folks who said Twist of Fate and Full Circle are too cliche. I believe the band should come up with something more creative.
Having said that, I don't think "illume" is the answer either. I'm still having trouble imagining just how Stevie is going to work the term "illume" into a song. It's just not an easy word to work into a sentence, never mind trying to sing it. Unless she makes it a point to emphasize the first syllable, it'll just come off as "loom" and create a completely different effect from what she is reaching for. Certain words should never be sung, and I may be proven wrong about "illume." Other words that should not be sung: Illusory Grouse Tutelage |

I actually think Illume is one of those songs where the title is only said once, and it's at the very beginning..."Illume says the candle that I burn," or something like that. Kind of like Dreams (okay, she says that TWICE), or Battle of the Dragon which she never says at all. I know the lyrics SAY that she does, but I can't hear it anywhere in the song's ending.
Johnny Stew, lol, what the HELL is with your signature? I nearly busted out in laughter in the middle of the library after I read it. I absolutely love German (if it IS German) as well as other languages like it. They make me laugh so hard. I used to sit in my music class and crack up hysterically at the songs that had German words and then translated them into English. I mean no offense to anyone German here, I actually wish I had taken German. It's just such a funny language to me.

It actually IS at the end of the song....there's alot of vocals going ("...you're not listening to me etc etc) and Stevie comes in clearly above the other vocals with "...battle of the dragon....noone walks away....you wish it to end, wish it to end, wish it to end." Just wanted to clarify! |

I would like a one-word title, a la Mirage and Rumours...BUT I really agree with who ever said they don't care. They can call it Hogswaller, Puketown, or Bloomerville. I just want the damn thing in my hands!
I'm just a greedy little fan who's little demon's comin' on down!
