This morning on the radio I heard Magnet And Steel and Ebony Eyes back to back. For a moment there I was worried one of my precious Macsters had passed away.

Well, with that particular combo of songs who did you think it might be who was dead?

I listen to a CBS news station, so when they played Sentimental Lady that was not a good omen. But there's this guy who gives business tips too and he often starts his little segment off with music which (he thinks) is related to his business topic. So, they could play GYOW and I might get all concerned, but it turns out that the guy was only giving advice on how to leave your job and go into business for yourself!

I understand what you're asking but I have no answer for you. It's an oldies station that never plays the same artists back to back.

But those songs are by two different artists.

I had odd dream last night about Stevie was getting married to somebody in a couple days.I don't know who.

Viv.I agree I do get shaken sometimes when stations play a set of tunes from an artist and not commenting about anything about the artist. It leaves it open with a bad feeling if there is something bad happen to them.

I remember when John Denver got killed in the airplane crash back in 1997 .The local country station was playing a set of his hits without making comments until last minute saying he died in the plane crash. They never play John Denver songs on that station when he was alive .Alse they pulled the same with Conway Twitty,Dottie West
and Tammy Wynnette.

Michele. I do listen to the news radio station in NYC 880 WCBS.They sometimes Play Fleetwood Mac song chips between news segments.

Although Stevie's voice is quite prominent on Magnet and Steel and I'm very proud of its production, if they played that song to herald anyone in Fleetwood Mac's death, I would sue. And boycott.

I usually listen to the news until they start repeating the same thing 20 times, then I listen to a podcast. But there's a billboard for one of the rock radio stations off the 405 freeway and it tells you what song is playing on the station as you are passing. When I go by and it says, "Now Playing ______________" and it's a FM song, I always switch my radio station to hear it.

I had a dream Stevie was playing the drums live and she was super good and everyone was freaking out about why she never played before.

That's all.

Don Henley must have given her private lessons.

So it's not a direct Stevie reference, but I am getting a big kick out of all of the female designers on Project Runway this season referring to the male designers as "chiffonies". LOL
