Default Christine looks fierce and ready to go again!!

I've never seen her have so much fun and play so fresh again!! From Maui to the London performances, she has an extra spark in her step. She look and sounds great and her voice has really held up.

I really hope this burst of energy and mini moments of spotlight give her the urge to work with these guys again. So magical!!

This forum has even seen some light!! No more crickets..

Oh, I hope so!

Who knows, maybe she'll appear in Vegas.

Also, she needs to make a little speech on the second show.

I take how great she's looking as a lovely confirmation that she's exactly where she ought to be in her life, and I'm more than happy with her continuing to live quietly. However, I think it's pretty clear now that if she did choose to work with FM again in some capacity, it would be completely on her terms, so that could work as well and would be fantastic fun. I guess we'll see what comes.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Maybe Chris ought to write a letter to them, and perhaps included would be her conditions that would allow her to work with FM again, then they work it all out.

Oh, totally. 15, 16 years is one long vacation. Large tours may be out of the question, but working with them on an album may still be.

I honestly don't think Lindsey would allow that.

Yeah, he loved having Chris out because he gets the spotlight now. Let her be involved, Linds. She's let you roll on the floor if you wanted to.

Who knows? I honestly don't think Chris would be interested in that. Not a full album anyway. But then, when it comes to Fleetwood Mac in the studio, given Stevie's current stance, it may be a case of Christine being involved or nothing happening at all. Lindsey might stop digging his heels in at some point in that case.

The main reason why she didn't want to is that she fears being thrust into the circus again. Which includes the large tours, the flying, the temptations of various vices, etc. If they lighten the pressure off, she might be more receptive.

I don't know. From the Destiny Rules doc, other footage, and Bob Welch's comments from a few years ago, I get the impression that working in Fleetwood Mac is pretty much a drag, and it has been for decades. Nobody seems to really have very much fun in the recording process. Part of what Christine might be "over" is just working in a room with these people for long periods. Given that she doesn't have much of a stake in the band, it's hard for me to picture. But as always, I reserve the right to be incorrect.

But 15 years is a long time to be away. Perhaps she misses being with the people and she would probably want to work again with these guys for perhaps one last time. Then maybe she can finally retire in peace. Maybe with a little nugget of music from time to time.

I don't know. All I want is some closure. Her leaving was so open ended for me.
