I'm watching. This is the best Grammys awards show I've seen in a very long time. I'm really impressed with everyone's performances (except Kid Rock, who just botched the beginning of that duet) - I like the no host format and that they're in the Staples Center and can do these huge productions.

Amy's won 3 awards so far - one was for either R & B album or song, not televised, I noticed it at the bottom of the screen just before the first commercial break. I hope she sweeps every category she's nominated in!

Gotta go watch my girl Alicia....

Hey Livia..

I thought so too! Even the gospel numbers were great with Aretha, and cool about Amy!! Alicia was awesome too! I'm still in awe about how wonderful Tina looked! How old is she again?? Holy Moly!! I want to look just as half as good as she does!! Geez..

I sure hope so !! I'm just sad she couldn't be let in the U.S. to come to the Grammy's and pick them up in person..

well, hopefully she'll get completely clean, record a new album in the future and be able to be here to receive it in person. i believe the u.s. granted her a visa to come here -- i just think coming over here probably wasn't the healthiest thing for her to do.

Here's the list of nominees and winners...I don't know what I think I saw on TV re: Amy and an r&b category? Maybe it was her female pop vocal win...?

i thought the same thing. i'm not a big fan of hers, but i'm still pulling for her.

i watched off and on tonight, and my only big WTF (aside from that stupid will.i.am performance) was carrie motherf*cking underwood beating trisha yearwood for best country vocal performance. that is CRIMINAL.

Thank you for posting that link. I'm happy to see Chaka Kahn won two Grammy's and Lupe Fiasco won one.

When was the last time someone said in their acceptance speech "and to my Blake who is incarcerated"?

You can't argue that she has talent and an incredible stage presence. Hopefully she will get the help she needs.

The only Grammy awards for country music I ever enjoyed was the year they named Lyle Lovett and kd lang Male and Female Country Vocalists of the Year. Country radio couldn't handle it. It was great!
