Default SYLM/DREAMS live Forum 8/29/77

I just listened to Say You Love Me from the forthcoming release of Rumours Live. The sound quality and both of these versions are pretty slick.

I highly suggest a listen. Whomever did the mixing and polishing, well done!

They really mixed Stevie's harmony part a little lower in the mix than usual. Heads are gonna roll....

Edit: you can hear her a lot more towards the end. Maybe it was a mic issue.

I'm impressed with the keyboard trills, and such. I can hear them clearly. This really sounds interesting because of the re-master and mixing.

Apple Music unblocked it. So now you have Dreams and Say You Love Me available to listen to.

I’ve listened to it. Both sound very clean and slick. The band is in top form. But the guitar on SYLM sounds like it’s been mixed down. I can hardly hear the guitar solo, which is odd. The keyboards are upfront, and that ‘s great, but I do miss that bright guitar.

I’m going to avoid spoilers and listen to the entire thing when I get my CD. Can’t wait to hear “World Turning” and “Oh Daddy” and “Second Hand News” in fine clarity from well into the tour.

David, This SYLM sounds familiar to my brain. Have we heard this on a bootleg before? edit (I'll wait til 9/8/23 for your answer. I now see you are waiting for the entire cd to be released.)

Actually, you may have heard Steve Denison’s audience recording of the 29th. But LA has never been leaked or released in any high-quality form (as good as Steve’s old tape sounds).

Come to think of it, there’s also another audience tape of LA — the following night, I think (Aug 30). It’s on YouTube.
