Cool Add A Part to Everybody Finds Out?

I love Everybody Finds Out, and I wish they would release it as a single instead of playing it safe with their MOR stuff. To add, there's a part of the song that I made up that I wish they would have thought of to add. It's going to be hard to explain without the music and without me being able to actually sing it, but it goes:

"I know you don't agree
Every day you tell me
I know you don't agree..."

Then in that little instrumental break I always sing "But soon you're gonna find out!" It fits in perfectly with the music and the song as a whole because it blends well into the next line, and plus it eludes more to the title. If you can fit it in, let me know. It starts two beats after the second "I know you don't agree" if you don't hold out the "ee" in agree. Try it and let me know!

Default Hey

Yeah that works well, Sorcerer386.
I'm glad I'm not the only crazy fan coming up with new lyrics. I woke up with an altered lyrics to Destiny Rules that I had been singing in my dream! I remembered it somehow. When I had been hearing it in my dream I swore that those were the words...

To the tune of :
"And the spirits are ruthless
With the paths they choose."

"And the first one that you love
Is the last one to be true."

Too much Buckingham Nicks romance on the brain!

Who else has come up with alternate/extra lyrics.

Heart ME TOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I was the only one that did that!! Thank God !! For RTTG I always change "toxic garden" to "poisnous garden"...I don't know what Stevie was thinking with that line ...and I like to add "run away!" right after she says "turn around"...it's like "get the hell outta there" !! As for EFO I change the second time she says I know you don't agree to I know you promised me...I think it fits because it's secret affairs we're talking about here !

Excellent additions. I always wail at the end of EFO. I want a Rhiannon-like rant of "You can have him, I do have him, I'll always have him, you know I'm gonna have him, etc." LOL. The poor people driving next to me...

Maybe "toxic garden" is synonymous (sp?) with "toxic people"?

"toxic" is pretty commonly used in psych speak for people who are REALLY bad for you to be near.

For RTTG, I think she probably just wanted another word for "poison" as she already uses that word in the second line. I actually LOVE the way she says "toxic garden," putting a punch on "toxic." I've been trying to think today of any other additions I've made to songs, which I know I have done, but I'm having a flattened brain wave day. I honestly couldn't even remember the lyrics to RTTG but knew she had poison in there, so I had to look the lyrics up. I hate these kind of days.

I bet you guys hear midnight "train" because of the famous "Midnight Train to Georgia." I love that song...it's so funny.

In any case, I said if I remembered any parts that I add to songs I would post them. For Stand Back during the intro, for some reason I sing along to it "Here we go, again and again, we're going too fast around the bend!" I had another one and am drawing another blank.
