I have the record, too. My mom found it at a flea market somewhere for $1. I don't have anything on which to play it but it looks nice sitting in my room.

Congratulations! Now all you need is the Christine Perfect album.

Is this an anachronism of some kind and somehow Christine knew that I wanted to hear "Ask Anybody" live, despite the fact that I was two years old in 1984 and hadn't the faintest idea who she was? She just knew that one day you would be posting those songs so that the older version of me would be appreciating them. Okay, now I'm just being ridiculous, even for me.

Thank you again!

I wonder why there was never a songbook published of the 1984 album.

That's right, nada. All I got was my long-sleeved white shirt with the piano keys & "Christine McVie In Concert" on the back, & a little button.

It was interesting to see many of the attendees at Universal dressed up a bit more than the usual for rock concerts. There were actually fur coats in the crowd, as if we were seeing Tony Bennett or somebody.

There was an innate sadness to these shows, Mary Anne, which I'm sure you felt too, for this was the last time any of us ever saw Christine run her warm hands over a CP-30. Little did we know then that the encroachment of the Microchip Age would poison Christine's purview & disrupt her mettle.

Yeah, I got a t-shirt too, no button though.

I wonder why she stopped using that piano. I loved it. It didn't get drowned out by the guitar.

David, by the way, was Lindsey at that L.A. show that you were at?

Biggest instrumental mistake she ever made.

He & John were, but they didn't sit in the audience -- Mick is the only one who did that.

thanks for posting your show! I'm going to try to find my tape of Universal & convert to MP3 & post too.
