When Did Stevie Stop Doing Falsetto?
...and did she discontinue live long before in studio, or at the same time? I'm thinking it was about when she got sober in 1986. That's when the backup singers joined the FM road band.

I made this thread, but then realized I couldn't think of examples beyond "Dreams." I couldn't figure out how to delete the thread, so I started the other one.
I guess with her deep voice she's not the falsetto type. She's generally relied on backing singers (or Christine) to sing them. I'd still love to see a list of examples of her doing it, including on stage. Last edited by cbBen; 12-11-2018 at 09:55 PM.. |
