Default Mobile 1980 Additional Tracks

Anyone seen this yet? I don’t believe I’ve ever heard these tracks before. That version of Go Your Own Way is…something. The solo starts our quite weird and the whole thing seems pretty different than other versions from the Tusk Tour. It’s been a long while since I listened to the Hollywood Bowl bootlegs from the end of the tour but what I always love about listening to these old shows is just how different the band could sound not only tour to tour, but also show to show.

Very true. The band does sound different in different cities. Especially early Tusk tour Vs late Tusk tour. In Mick's first book he writes the Tusk Tour had them at their worst and best. Some nights they were the tightest band ever while other nights everyone was off a bit. David once wrote something like the later part of the Tusk tour was his favorite for how the band sounded.
Sara is definitely different almost every night. Lindsey sung and played Go Your Own Way every edgy back then. I never cared for Stevie's vocals on GYOW on the Tusk tour. I dont know why. She adds to the song on the Rumours tour, Mirage and post Lindsey but something about the Tusk tour her vocals detract from the song IMHO.

That might have been me that wrote that. My fave part of my precious Tusk Tour took place between May and June of 1980. Those months contain three of my favorite Rhiannon's ever. However the live Rhiannon from Tuscon in August is a top lifetime fave also. The Chain from the May & June shows also are the best ever and probably every song from the shows done during those two months.
