Am I the only one who didn't know that? I had no idea that Deep Dense's lyrics came from an early Stevie song. That's pretty fascinating for Lindsey to do that. I wonder why he was playing around with old songs.

Well, I think Lindsey added lyrics of his own to it. The "had a little break down in the middle . . ." sound like him. On the making of Rumours talk Mick says that Lindsey not only remembers his old stuff (Lindsey wrote some of his songs in the womb and they still haven't been completed) but that he remembers "the girls" too. Mick was talking about how The Chain came to be and I didn't pay much attention to him. But maybe Lindsey does still remember a lot of Stevie's old demo lyrics. I wonder if Stevie heard Deep Dense and, if so, what she thinks of Lindsey using those lyrics. Michele |

Thanks so much Betsy. This is the sh*t I'm looking for. Any crappy sloppy sketch is welcome. His songbuilding and try-outs are fascinating.

awww, yeah. what kind of compilation are these from, betsy? track 01 definitely sounds like ITYN, but i've not heard these before. they very much have that 50s vibe like L&O. they're great.
on edit, i know i've heard this track 10.. but i don't think with a vocal on it. hmm.
