Yes, I noticed it and I got giddy, but then I figured the hat probably belonged to Kristen.

As for the house: the only thing i like is the kitchen.
All the other rooms make me feel sorry for whoever needs to clean them. All those trinkets !
The rooms also do not have a lived-in look, but remind me of a showroom.

If I was going to have my house shown off in a magazine, I'd make sure there were no dirty socks lying around too, to be honest....! Perhaps that explains the showroom look.

That said, kids' rooms should definitely not have themes. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful, though, and I'd kill for a study like that...!

Yikes... the place looks like a 97 year old Granny's pad. I love so many of the things I see in the picture... just not together, and not with as MANY of them as there are. And I'm all about combining styles too (I love combining antique things with retro modern stuff. I have my own patented Retro Modern Witchy style as I call it ). The couch is awesome... but totally wrong for the setting. I agree too you shouldn't theme your kids rooms... let them do their own thing in their rooms. I just can't understand how they've gone this WRONG with their current house after their Bel Air one was so amazingly done .

Okay... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the design... I love it!!! I could move in, right now! LOL I said to my friends when I saw it, "It is everything that is me... I love it!" I know it is not the taste of many, but it is my taste.

I think the rooms have a few too many pictures on the wall, but other than that, I dont really mind it.

I'm sorry but it is too claustrophobic for me. This type of decoration leaves me cold--no warmth. Too mannered. You'd walk into a house like that and not have a clue as to inhabits the place. Nothing that really personalizes it.

But she is trying to showcase her "talent," so maybe the other rooms in the house are more family oriented? Where people can relax and put their feet up on the couch?

I'm just glad for Lindsey's sake that Kristen has yet to decide that she's an "investment banker".

Too funny. Hopefully she'll get some third party clients for her designs or else the family might be moving to a new house again very shortly. Michele

Well, that's what happened the last time they featured a home in a mag...
