Well, I think Lindsey's FINALLY realized that most of the record buying public doesn't give a sh*t. That's why he rejoined FM! He's got four people to support now.

Interesting Billy sidenote- I was listening to a country CD, by a newcomer named Jedd Hughes, last night, and perused the liner notes, and discovered that Billy co-wrote one of the songs with Jedd, "High Lonesome".

Funny thing, though, "Out Of The Cradle" sold about as many copies as "Time" and "Say You Will" sold about as many copies as "Behind The Mask."

I can't really agree with the Peter Green comment. Consider that it was less than three and a half years from the release of "A Hard Road" to his leaving Fleetwood Mac, and yet he's still considered not just one of Fleetwood Mac's best guitarists, but one of the best guitarists from the '60s (which had a bunch of great guitarists). Sure, other guitarists brought in their own style. Peter set the bar, and nobody else has been able to raise it.

"Failed"? HA! Your case has more holes than a block of Swiss cheese.

Top grossing tours of 1987 & 1990, Behind The Mask was the #1 album in the UK in 1990. Sure, "failed". Take out the earplugs and LISTEN.

And, exactly HOW many guitarists were on the OotC tour? Oh, yeah, FIVE. Obviously, Lindsey couldn't cut it on his own.

Oh, yeah. It also took two people to "replace" Bob Welch, too. Go buy another copy of Rumours and leave me alone.

Steve you need to put this post as your sig dude. You've had to answer it more times than I've had to say I'm a single male Ledgie and I'm not gay..

I'd agree with that. Although Danny played his fair share of lead and there are times in the live recordings when I can't seperate them, they became a singular entity on some of those jams.

Peter was a visionary and thats the difference. The others are great guitarists.
