About the other possibilities, frankly my dears I don't give a damn. They all are over to me. I tribute show would be the only thing I'd be interested in.

Fleetwood Mac is never done. There are many touring bands out there with only one remaining original member in them. I know we're all still mourning the great loss of Christine but the show must go on.

I think Mick is the thread that keeps them together. I see Lindsey and Mick working together, but I think John is done. Stevie and Mick will work together if she goes back into the studio which I doubt. I would love a Christine memorial concert and the band playing with special guests. That would be great. And a final farewell to all.

Yeah, idiots will still go to see the old goat, but they're truly dishonoring the legacy of the band, by carrying on as Fleetwood Nicks(or anyone else). It's over.

After that, anyone left should mount a production of Hedda Gabler on Broadway (out-of-town tryouts in Boston or Upstate), with Stevie Nicks in the title role, Mick Fleetwood as Hedda’s husband George, Sharon Celani as Thea, Lindsey Buckingham as the judge, and Jimmy Paxson as the servant Bertha.

For me, 45 years of following the same band, only to have the end be some f*cking cover band. Thanks a lot, you old miserable goat...karma's coming for you.

I agree. And there are some who say get over it, but I can't. it was so screwed up what happened. And for Stevie to put out a statement following some of Lindsey's comments in articles, where she says she has years of reasons for not working with him again, I mean please. Enough with that. How many times do you say you've gotten over it and then rehash it again. I just don't understand why the group didn't stand up to her. Lindsey was so spot on when he said it wasn't really about whose fault it was, because we all know whose fault it was, but it was about the finish line of the band and the legacy left behind. The legacy was ruined by her actions. And she talks about how important the band was to her. I don't buy it.

That’s the thing, though: the show must not need go ahead—and it shouldn’t. Those bands touring with only one original member are often sad unironic parodies of their past. Fleetwood Mac was already in this territory by 2017, but the return of Christine, the hope for new music, and the novelty of the ongoing LB/SN feud made the whole tour interesting…

I think what some of y’all are missing is that Stevie’s narcissism demands the drama and attention her professional relationship with Lindsey and FM brings. She can’t walk away from it because it would starve her of the fuel she runs on. She’ll inevitably get bored of the sycophants she’s surrounded herself with in her solo career and need a fresh shot of hysteria that can only be provided by Lindsey. Now the wild card at this point is all their health. I’m terrified of John dropping dead. But if that happened Stevie would still concoct something, even if it were a FM tribute tour with Mick and Lindsey and other musicians or a Buckingham Nicks tour. Mark my words, it’s not over until she or Lindsey dies.
PS- RIP Christine. This is my first post since her passing. Her death was so unexpected and hit me harder than I would have ever imagined. She was the center, glue, heart, and soul of this band.

They could do the Legends spot on Sunday afternoon at Glastonbury…
Just one last throw of the dice…. It’s an amazing spot to do..and Rumours would top the album chart…again Blondie are on at the moment they are very good and Debbie Harry looks amazing. |

If they did anything, they’d need Lindsey. If Stevie made amends with him NOW, after the prospects of music from all five of them is impossible, I’d be more pissed than I already am. They had it all right there in front of them and she quashed it. She had her reasons, but then if she reunites with him in the context of the band, she’d need to eat some crow and acknowledge her part in that missed opportunity. I’d rather not see or hear any such configuration of the band.
