Thanks for sharing.
Great cover! Definitely better than anything off Tori's new record, which (sadly) is abysmal IMHO. |

I love Tori in small doses. I saw her live early in her career. Since then, I've bought every album she made, along with all her singles (lots of rare non-album material). I listen to the new album music until it's familiar, yet I rarely am ever in the mood to play them again.
It's a commitment to listen to an entire album. She's very prolific and packs a lot of music in her albums. And her style of writing is so unique, dense with characters and obscure references, it can be challenging to injest it all. Like Stevie, she has created her own musical world, but you can't compare the two; they have completely different talents. You got to give her props for giving homage to one of Stevie's best songs. Tori 's music is in a class by itself. Stevie's music is much more accessible.

In my opinion she does the definitive cover of Landslide, far more than The Dixie Chicks or The Smashing Pumpkins.

I agree. She completely Tori-fies it. No one can match that.

You can tell she's heard the demos.

Tori Amos covers "Silver Springs"
Enjoy! A nice version, although I'd love it if she really went for it at the end. This was done on Stevie's birthday

Tori's brother (who died in a car accident in 2004) was a big Fleetwood Mac fan. Whenever she plays the Mac, it's for him.
She's done "Landslide", "Dreams" and "Songbird" before now. Incidentally, I really love Tori's new album. It's by far the best thing she's some since "Scarlet's Walk". I saw her live in Glasgow & Manchester last month and she was incredible. |

Well, it IS a Fleetwood Mac song so I think it's alright to have it here.

She is gross.

Wow. That was amazing. Her covers can be stunning sometimes and this one is for sure. I wish this had gone on her covers CD. I also love her version of Case of You. I've heard her version of Landslide too (once when I went to see her live ) and it's amazing. I too have become less interested in her music over the last few years and bought UG but I can't get into it yet. Maybe I will start liking it more like other people have posted here. I didn't know she has done Dreams and Songbird too. I guess I need to go to youtube and take a look.
