I don't know the exact quote....but it's the interview during like Other Side of the Mirror when she has like a big bow tied around her head.....like pink or something.....and she says something like, "Well, I think they know that the heel of my platform boots would not feel good in their shin, and my tambourine would not feel good over their head...." I love when she got all fired up and acted tough.....lol.....so funny.

Christine's response: Waking up to a hang-over and having the worst case of PMS in the recorded history of women's health. Or trying to make it to the bathroom to throw up after getting too drunk and tripping over your husband because he passed out on the floor and couldn't make it to the bed. Wait, I have a better one. Trying to make love to your husband in a bus that is going 95 miles an hour while your bandmates listen with their ears against the door. It is difficult being the only female in a band.
ROTFLMAO. I have always liked Christines humour and now I got another fine example. That one is great, thanks KathyD

My favorite quote is from JohnMcVie, circa 1990, driving in his car with an interviewer.

Interviewer: So, all in all how much did you all spend on drugs?

John: Couple of mills...

Interviewer: Jesus!

John: That's what we said.

Great one.

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOO FUNNY!

Btw, the one where Stevie said my tambourine on his head and my heels on his skin, is also the interview where she finally says the 'Silver Springs' story and is like: "NO ONE EVER MESSES WITH MY FAMILY!!!!EVER!!!!!!!"

Another funny one is when she was responding to the witch rumors by saying: "On halloween, i didn't want to go as a hotdog or a box of kleenex!"

That one was too funny, might have been MTV 1986...not too sure though..

***Interesting note, that Silver Springs mean interview happens to be on my Bristol Connecticut '89 CD where she curses out the security people!

THOUGHT OF ANOTHER ONE!!!

Jay Leno 2001:

Question: Paper or Plastic?

Stevie: Like I said, cash

Me screaming at the TV: "Noooo!!!! "

lmao!!!

Poor Stevie, even when shes not under the influence shes a little confused!

And her defense, she goes to Sheryl: "You NEVER go to the market either!"

Can't you just hear her saying it in her distinguished English accent?! I love hearing her speak....

I love the part in the Tusk tour documentary where she was recalling some band she was in around the Chicken Shack days:
"....and for some obscure reason i was playing bass"

In the same documentary she sits there on the boat, with a plastic cup in her hand (coffee?) and talks about the 5 strong minded individuals in the band: "I respect their opinions, even if they are wrong."

...and the one when she imitates the studio boss with the deep voice: "... that makes it a valuable product".

The british accent makes it all the more funny.

I'd forgotten about that....so not only do LB and Christine (according to LB) have a similar musical sense, but they also played the same "wrong" instrument in their first bands.
