She wasn't Ringo's date, was she?

No, his wife Maureen was there too. Obviously not in this picture.

Oh really? That's nice, I didn't know she was on Facebook, she doesn't seem to me like she desires media attention anymore. Are those pictures rare?

I guess Donovan wrote Jennifer Juniper at that time...

Thanks, I thought that was the case and I'd search for the larger picture but couldn't find anything on google.
Yes, if I recall correctly I've read that Donovan wrote Jennifer Juniper inspired by Jenny about this time (and based on this fact I guess we can say that she was Donovan's date for the occasion).

A quick visit to Wikipedia suggests the song was written about Jenny before they went to India and was inspired by her enduring a heroin overdose. Tut tut, she seems so prim.

Judy Wong is on that blog also. It's a pretty interesting blog. I didn't know about The Butter Queen or that she died in a fire a few months ago. Sad. A lot of the girls are dead. Jenny and Patti are lucky to have made it. I had no idea Jenny used heroin. I really must read her book.
