Sorry, Tower. Apples to oranges.

As for this one....

I've been lucky enough to face that dilemma a couple of times. I've always picked Stevie's.

They're both brilliant, even if among their separate musical worlds, according to my tastes, Stevie's is more nuanced, deep and intriguing than Lindsey's.

Seriously? I don't think I have to answer this.

Little Miss "I'm a Little Teapot" (see live performances of "Say You Will") does nothing for me.

Lindsey all the way. He's talented, sexy, and at times spastic (sometimes I think he suffers from adult ADHD)...

Everything Stevie is not. I like some of her songs, but overall she bores me.

I don't care who you chose, but I don't think anyone could say there wasn't a large part of her career in which little miss teapot was EXTREMELY spastic in her performances.

hmmm...good point Amber!

I mean all one has to do is go back to Tusk and maybe the Mirage tour to see a more "spastic" Stevie...maybe it was the drugs...or maybe it was the music. But one thing Stevie is, or at least used to be, is spastic.

I personally never cared much for how many twirls she used to do and does now (I still don't understand the fascination for them), or the statistics coming from the kicks watchers, how much she jumps up and down. Mobility isn't really a key factor to judge a performance, IMO. What I look at it's the intensity and there's alot of it in Stevie performances nowadays.

We probably just pay attention to different things.

The operative word is "was."

Now her performances are lackluster at best.

did you happen to catch her solo shows this summer?

and as for whose mic i'd pick... at FM shows? lindsey's. he actually pays attention to the people worshipping/salivating at his feet. but stevie's solo shows, you have to be down front.

and as for who's better... 'better' is such an ugly word.

But better?

maybe I'm better. at least I'm not sick. I mean ill. hehe.
I know, they are such totally different performers, etc. I like them both.

After being bored (and at times annoyed) by her SYW performances, there was no justifying the expense.

In my opinion, that's such a subjective question, with no factual answer, just a highly personal one.

If you wanted to prompt a discussion about the various strengths and weaknesses of Stevie and Lindsey, I undertstand what you mean. But to ask "Who's better?"? That's a very devisive approach!
