Youtube clip of the infamous fight?
Anyone know the link for the interview where Stevie mentions the infamous house fight she and Lindsey got into when he left the band in the late 80s? The one where she talks about him chasing her and throwing her on top of the car? Just curious, thanks.

I don't know. Look under Rock Family Trees, as your search terms.

It's on YouTube in 5 parts, featuring some quite bitter comments from Bob Welch and Stevie. And also, Stevie's hair is ridiculous. Look for "Rock Family Trees: The Fleetwood Mac Story"

Coz she went over and physically "attacked" him... grabbed him or hit him or whatever. he reacted pretty violently to it.

True but it sounds like after that he literally chased her down to try and kill / beat her up... That's a pretty violent reaction. I've beat someone up before in self defense but would never run AFTER them...

Stevie is so overly dramatic. No one was trying to kill anyone. She attacked him first (her admission) and, if he so desired, could have easily have attacked her then and there. The chasing up and down the street (if that really happened) was a way of blowing off stream so it wouldn't happen. It takes two tango (in the night) and both were as equally responsible. And before you said WAIT but she's a woman. She started the whole physical alteration (her admission) so you can't blame him for not sitting there and taking it, especially after their turbulent past. Women can be just as violent as men can be. Unfortunately, this is the way domestic violent works.

She went after him in a burst of fury, and he responded in kind, though it does sound like if she ran out of the room and then out of the house to get away from him he should have let her go.... perhaps she pulled the tail of the tiger and the tiger went a little over board..

Side note - the blue lamp (the glass lampshade part) looks more like the "green lamp" in this interview. Lighting, perhaps?

I true man - a true gentleman - can take a confrontation with a woman and still treat her respectfully. Whether she started it or not really doesn't matter... I forget who said it but there's a quote that says true character is defined by reactions not actions.
That being said, I can't imagine the emotional pain these two must have been in after this. They are the reason Fleetwood Mac is who they are, and Fleetwood Mac made them. Their lives revolve around each other, and for someone to just leave... I couldn't stand that. Not that her actions can be justified in any way, but the pain... It probably never goes away.
