Just ordered Pizza, garlic bread and chicken wings for my sister and I. This is bad to two reasons. Number 1, I've eaten terribly all weekend and should be eating something healthier; number 2, the roads are still covered in snow and I feel badly for the poor pizza delivery guy.

Perhaps - but sometimes you just have to!

If you gave that sh** to the customers where I work, they'd rightfully give it right back to you.

For tea tonight, I had quorn shepherds pie made by my step dad It was yummy!
Thanks for reminding me earlier this place existed, I haven't posted in forever.

I remember that, oddly enough the place isn't in business anymore ha. It was called the British Pub I do believe. Meh.

For my Valentine's Day dinner, , I had some beef brisket BBQ, mashed potatoes, and I made some lentil soup. The BBQ and taters were good. The soup, so so. I just wanted any hot soup, to heat me up on this sh*tty day.

Just grilled some lobster tails with butter, lemon, & sauteed garlic and they far outshone my signature sauteed asparagus with lemon-butter (with a touch of spicy mustard). I've always boiled lobster in the past, and have been fairly unimpressed with the results. Grilling them made them unbelievable... restaurant quality and it took all of 5 minutes on the grill!

So do you have to clean yours(you're buying a whole one, or just the tails)? The ones I've been buying at Krogers are whole, and actually, quite disgusting, cleaning the sh*t out, from when you pull the tail off of the body. I actually decided that the one I had last week, was going to be my last. I ain't no lobster bathroom custodian.

Just bought the tails (on sale for $5 each!). I kinda butterflied them and washed them... took all of 30 seconds for each tail. I've never cooked a whole lobster... I am not up for that much prep work.

This was seriously easy, though. Butterfly them, grill them meat side down for 4 minutes, flip them over on the shell side, then grill them for 2 more minutes and you're done. YUM!!

It's weird, because they used to be so expensive....Krogers has had whole lobsters(not huge ones, though) for $5, for the past couple of years.

I'll try that cooking method, next time!

Mmmm, cabbage rolls. And since I had the head of cabbage out, I made some cole slaw, too.
Yummy winter Sunday comfort food!

Making Chile Relleno, stuffing it with chorizo and cheese. And I saw avocados on sale yesterday, so I made guacamole to go with it. The guac is kick ass...best I've ever made!

The best Guacamole recipe I know is from Boudro's restaurant on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. They make it fresh at your table and, thankfully, the recipe is on their website. Trust me, it is amazing!

That's pretty darned close to what I made. I was completely stuffed after eating, but know what? There are only a couple tablespoons of the guac left, I might as well go finish it!!!
