^Or just "Been there, Done that" Tour...
No dates yet. Wouldn't expect them until the first of the year maybe.

Haha... I love that. That would be perfect. It's funny because after EVERY tour... Stevie or one of the band members states "I don't think we'll ever do this again." By the end of the tours......they all hate each other. Ahhhhh......what would life be without the tortured drama of Fleetwood Mac on stage. Torture for them, but great for the fans.....we still get great music.

Even if they did record a few new songs, or even an album, I don't think many of them would end up in the set list. At the most, we'd be lucky to get two new songs in the set. It sadly wouldn't radically alter the over-familiar show they have been doing.
But then again, some fans surprisingly want to keep the show frozen and set in stone, hence comments about how the group "have to" perform certain songs, and in a certain order, otherwise it isn't worth the cost. I don't understand that mentality at all. Granted, a significant portion of Fleetwood Mac's audience may only be familiar with the hits and famous songs. However, at this advanced, albeit waning stage I wish the band would not care as much about that. I'd hope they would be inspired to use this opportunity to take stock in much of their overlooked material (deep album tracks, songs not performed in decades, b-sides, Buckingham Nicks songs, etc...) and give us a refreshed, revitalized show. As artists, why would they not want explore and challenge themselves to go beyond the stale norm? Is it because they are getting old and profit now trumps all else? It's like a painter painting only the same image over and over just because it's a safe and easy guarantee.

I believe i've read somewhere that rehearsels for the new tour will start in the first month of 2013. Is this true?

At first they were saying January. Now they are saying February.

Running in the Shadows tour?
Expect huge ticket prices on this one though. |

Since 1979 FM has always had huge ticket prices. It's hard to believe in this day and age though, that $15.50 would be paid for the best seats in the venue like they were on that tour. In 1979 the average ticket price was $7.50 and the FM price felt ridiculous and out of reach for the average joe.

So are they seriously going to call it FLEETWOOD MAC LIVE 2013? We were all hoping they would write a new record, seems they couldn't even write a title for the tour!

^And that's the picture they will use for the back of the t-shirt.
Half of their work is already done, I guess. Michele |

So Lindsey gets his name first on the billing.... that must have been an interesting conversation among the managers et al

The other half will be deciding which SYW picture they want to use for the front.
