After 5 months, a billion discussion threads, more polls and discussions, we have finally arrived at the very last battle. Here are the songs up for Favorite Fleetwood Mac Song of All Time.

One day I'd like to do one of these polls, but without the hits. Thanks for sticking with this contest, it was quite a long one! Can't believe it's been 5 months. I'll have to go with Gypsy, though.

Don't think I could ever definitively choose my favorite FM song of all time (hard enough picking a favorite within each era of the band), but I actually had no trouble choosing in this poll. Three fantastic songs, but The Chain has never lost its magic for me. Maybe it's got something to do with the unique way it developed as a song, it being credited to all the members of the Rumours line-up and all.

Anyway, these polls have been interesting and rather fun. Lotsa great discussions that I enjoyed reading. Anyone thinking of something similar for some of the various band members' solo output?

This has been a great, fun poll to do and I really did enjoy voting and watching the songs.

As for now, grrrrrrr! I like these 3 songs so much, but in the end, The Chain has the edge. It is the Mac's theme song, but it also embodies everything that is awesome about their music, not to mention it's just a kickass song.

Went with Rhiannon, although I seriously contemplated Gypsy for a while. All three are fab songs though.

If I were alone, I'd pick Gypsy.

If I were hanging with my Stevie-friends, we'd listen to Rhiannon.

But since we're in public, I have to go with The Chain - such a great song with something in it for everyone.

The Chain is Fleetwood Mac's consummate song. All members are showcased (even and especially John McVie!!), the song is sonic perfection, it utterly defines everything the band has ever been about, and there's just something for everyone there. I can't point to anything in the entire song which I think is less than perfect. Even though it's a cliche amongst Mac tunes, to me, the song represents the best of the best.

Go Your Own Way placed 5th with 15 nominations for Favorite Rumours era song. Sara was 4th with 16 nominations. So Go Your Own Way barely missed it! I'm surprised about Gold Dust Woman loosing so early.
