And one other time I also forgot to go, but held it in (even though it was getting pretty urgent) until the show ended. Other than that I've never left to go to the restroom or concessions (with the price of concessions that's a one time thing, if I go at all, and it's before the show starts)
Yes, I never go to the restroom either. First of all, I don't like the hassle of getting in and out of the arena, showing my ticket and what not. Secondly, I can't stand public restrooms, even ones a lot less trafficked than those. So, I have to overcome a huge mental block even to use one under normal circumstances, let alone when I'm at a concert for performers I love. Also, I don't usually go to the concession stand and one reason is I can't drink anything, if I'm resolute about not going to the restroom.

But even aside from that, if I loved going to the bathroom, I still wouldn't as a point of honor when it came to my favorite band.

I don't know if it's a tradition, but between tour legs, they usually do change a couple of songs, if the break is long enough.

I think Little Lies is extremely unlikely; they claimed not to be able to make it work in 1997, so I doubt they'd put a load of work in this time around for a one-off. I suppose if she was willing to sing lead on her own then Everywhere is a possibility, but she hinted that she'd only do 'duets' in a recent interview. I think if she does it we all pretty much accept she will come on for the encores.

IKINW really rocked too. I felt it captured people who didn't know it, just due to the rollicking beat and the enthusiasm of the performance from both Stevie and Lindsey. Stevie was as active during that as she is for SHN.

I don't know if they consider AHI an anomaly or if there was something about it they didn't like, but you'd think acoustic Gypsy isn't something we'd have to sell them on, since it's something they've experienced. I think they feel that the song tends to languish already and that it's one they're open to changing, so I don't quite understand why they don't.

Anytime you quiet things down and you get closer to the edge of the stage and make the audience think they're being included in something intimate, I think they appreciate it more. The intricacy and concentration. Like an exfoliate, acoustic seems to shake off the glitter, open the pores and let you absorb the sound better. It would be a way to give Gypsy new life.

I'd never heard that version until just now. Beautiful and IMO better than the current live version.

Is this the version you're thinking of? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5HeRgOVOMw

This was absolutely wonderful, and can accommodate the vocal changes Stevie has made to the song in recent years. If it's a song that's impossible to capture the studio magic live, why not change it up?
